Semaglutides originated as a diabetes medication. They were also FDA approved to treat obesity in 2021. Confusingly, Ozempic or Wevovy have become the byword for the once-weekly shot regardless of which version of the drug a person is taking, or why. Many people have this misconception that you are taking away from diabetics and that there's a shortage out there. This is simply not the case. We are not using Wegovy or Ozempic to take away from anybody needing diabetic medications. We use a generic version of Semaglutide which is more concentrated but we do not use it in isolation. We choose your dosing appropriately and have standard operating procedures for what we’ve designed. And as every person is unique, every dosing is unique and customized to the individual.

PLEASE NOTE: If ANY of your blood work is abnormal expect to be sent back to your primary care and have it retested to make sure it is managed and/or controlled. If there’s a reasoning behind these unusually high or low levels we will require a sign-off by your primary care that approves you for our weight management program with a semaglutide.
