Radiofrequency delivers energy in the form of heat into different levels of the skin. This heat stimulates collagen renewal and tightens the skin. Heating the skin to different levels provides several benefits. The first benefit is a temperature induced immediate collagen contraction often producing immediate results. In addition to immediate heat induced tightening, RF energy also stimulates collagen production and renewal which occurs over about 3-6 months gradually tightening the skin and improving fine lines and texture. The ability to safely, consistently and gently heat tissue is revolutionary in how we treat aging skin!

There are two ways RF™ energy can be applied to human tissue.

Non-Invasive: With this method there is no breaking of the skin whatsoever, a probe with a flat surface is applied to the clients skin and radiofrequency energy leaves the probe and enters the skin. Ultrasound gel is applied to the skin for lubrication, the probe gradually warms until a set target temperature is reached. Many describe the feeling similar to a “hot stone massage”. Typically, several treatments two weeks apart are required to achieve the maximum results. The non-invasive arm of ThermiRF™ is called ThermiSmooth™. We also offer non-invasive vaginal tightening called ThermiVa™. Clients typically get three treatments spaced one month apart, ThermiVa ™ tightens and rejuvenates the female anatomy.

Microinvasive: A treatment is microinvasive when the only break in the skin is a small pinhole made by a needle. There is no need for stitches and no visible scarring. Radiofrequency energy is delivered through a small probe that is inserted into the skin while thermal imaging is used to monitor the skin's temperature, this is our ThermiTight™. Higher temperatures than ThermiSmooth™ can be achieved because the probe is under the skin in deep layers without overheating the skin's surface. ThermiTight can be used in areas such as the chin and neck area and the outer chest wall (bra roll). ThermiTIght™ can also be used to treat areas that are more difficult to treat with surgery such as the knees and arms. Downtime is typically limited to a few days!
